On Wednesday, April 13th 30 Legacy Society members and Capitol Lakes Foundation Board Directors gathered in the Grand Hall for the 2nd Annual Legacy Society Celebration. The Legacy Society Celebration is an opportunity to appreciate those individuals who have included the Capitol Lakes Foundation in their estate plans. Together, Legacy Society members have committed or made realized gifts in the amount of $1.1 million in support of the Capitol Lakes community. Thanks to their foresight and generosity, the vibrancy of the Capitol Lakes community will be protected for decades to come.
The Celebration also offers a chance to remember those members who passed away in the last year. Board Director and Legacy Society member, Norma Madsen, made a touching tribute to Jeanne Silverberg. Jeanne was a long time resident of Capitol Lakes and was incredibly involved in the Capitol Lakes community serving on the Foundation Board for six years as well as many other committees across our community.
We are grateful to our Legacy Society members like Jeanne for the impact they will certainly have on so many lives even after they are gone. If you’re interested in joining this community of forward thinking supporters contact Foundation Director, Lenee Kruse, at firstname.lastname@example.org or learn more at https://www.yourclfoundation.org/legacy-society.
