Thanks to the generosity of our residents and donors, the Capitol Lakes Foundation is able to fully fund the Financial Assistance in Times of Hardship (FAITH) program which provides our staff with a safety net when they are faced with a financial crisis outside of their control.
Because of you, we are able to give our staff the support they need to prevent a small shortfall from becoming a full blown financial crisis.
Just this last year, one of our employees had a fire in their apartment. Certainly, this incident was unexpected and outside of their control. Thanks to you, we were able to provide this staff member with the deposit and rent they required so that their family was able to find a new place to live.
This fiscal year alone we fulfilled 12 similar emergency requests totaling nearly $9,000. Your support makes a huge difference in the lives of our staff when it matters most.
