Investment in Tuition Assistance Pays Dividends

When the Capitol Lakes Foundation decided to provide tuition assistance to help retain and support our student workers, Kjersti Beth – Admissions Assistant and Quality Assurance Liaison – was the first employee to receive aid. This summer she hung her diploma in her office.

“I am so humbled and thankful the Foundation was able to support me in my decision to further my education and pursue my degree in Healthcare Management. I was so grateful that I didn’t need to worry about the financial burden. Every little bit helped and I intend to give back every little bit to the Capitol Lakes community.”

In an incredibly challenging year with many unexpected needs and competing priorities your generosity allowed us to approve over 20 tuition assistance applications for staff members just like Kjersti so far this fiscal year. Your commitment to this program is paying significant dividends with 82% of students receiving aid continuing to work at Capitol Lakes. Like Kjersti, they are taking what they’ve learned and giving back to our residents in countless ways every day.

Thanks for all you do for Capitol Lakes. Together, we truly are enhancing the living experience.
