Legacy Society Spotlight: Pete and Ruthie Taylor

Pete and Ruthie moved to Capitol Lakes in 2018 and are new members to the Legacy Society this year. Here is why they decided to join:

My grandparents and parents were at a long-term care facility outside of Philadelphia, PA run by the Quakers. My father ended up living there for 25 years from age 65 to 90 years old. The last few years, he ran out of money and after being very active and holding many offices, their Benevolent Fund allowed him to remain in the facility he loved and knew. Pete and I hope that by joining the Capitol Lakes Foundation’s Legacy Society we’ll be able to assist someone in the same way.

Legacy Society Members have made a commitment to the future of Capitol Lakes by including the Foundation in their estate plans. If you’re interested in learning more or if you would like to join the Legacy Society please contact Foundation Director, Lenee Kruse, at 608-283-2013 or by email at lkruse@retirement.org. You can also fill out an Intention of Planned Giving form here.
