Cultivate Kindness

This note, from a former Capitol Lakes rehab patient to their CNA, always reminds me that small kindnesses often result in the biggest impacts. In May we'll celebrate National Skilled Nursing Care Week and this year's theme "Cultivating Kindness." Over the next month I invite you to share your stories of kindness on social media with the hashtag #NSNCW

If you would like to cultivate kindness for our residents, rehab patients, or staff consider a tribute gift to the Capitol Lakes Foundation.

Your notes of appreciation will be shared at a campus-wide party to celebrate National Skilled Nursing Care Week and your gift will put kindness into action by supporting:

  • Expanded support for resident and patient programs and services

  • Funding for professional development scholarships, tuition assistance, and student loan repayment for our team

  • Help for staff facing financial emergencies

Thank you for cultivating kindness now and throughout the year. Join our mailing list or keep an eye on our Facebook page for updates.

~ Lenee Kruse, Capitol Lakes Foundation Director

PS - Don't forget to recognize someone who has made a difference in your life or the life of someone you love today. Your kindness DOES make a difference. Tribute gifts can be made here.
