In Faith’s Words: The Impact of Tuition Assistance

At Capitol Lakes, supporting our team members means investing in the people who care for our residents every day. Through the Capitol Lakes Foundation's tuition assistance program, team members like Faith Eruchalu can continue building their skills, pursuing their education, and preparing for what comes next. Here, Faith shares what the support means to her and how her experience at Capitol Lakes is helping shape her future.
My name is Faith and I am a CNA, Med Tech and Preceptor at Capitol Lakes. I have been employed here for nearly 3 years. I am currently attending UW-Madison pursing a Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing with certificates in global health and entrepreneurship. After completion of my undergrad years I plan to gain experience as a nurse with hopes of furthering my education later in my career. Tuition assistance means a lot to me because every bit of financial support helps when you're a college student. It helps take some of the stress off paying for school and allows me to put that money toward other important expenses.
Over the past three years at Capitol Lakes, I have built meaningful relationships with both my coworkers and residents, which has made my experience even more rewarding. Working as a CNA, Med Tech, and Preceptor has also allowed me to grow professionally, strengthen my patient care skills, and develop my confidence as a future nurse. I am grateful to work somewhere that not only allows me to make a difference in the lives of others but also supports my personal and educational growth.
